JORDAN DONALDSON
Outlaw
Creative Director
In 2019 I was asked to oversee the creation of all marketing material and ticket sales as Creative Director for the Outlaw conference.
Under previous management ticket sales dwindled and would typically see 80% of available tickets sold after 1 year of advertising.
I gave my team one clear goal, this next conference would be completely sold out.
To bring this goal to a reality I developed a bold new marketing strategy that would energise customers into action. This was achieved through a high contrasting and distorted design style. Motorbikes, flares and flags all built excitement and symbolised a movement of people promoting viewers to action.
Not only was I overseeing a team of 16 people spread across multiple states, but also overseeing multiple different departments including; design, video, web development and print media.
The OUTLAW campaign returned a record breaking 2000 ticket sales after the offical launch with the entire event selling out within 24hrs.

Branding Consistency
Beginning with a mood board assists team members understand the vision, goals, look and feel of the project. Ensuring consistency between different departments.

Web & Social Oversight
As creative director, it was imperative to ensure seperate departments completed tasks on time and under budget while carrying the same branding style.
Clear and concise communication is paramount to ensure all teams deliver projects to the highest possible standard.
Outlaw Commercial
The Outlaw commercial needed to be bold and stand out. My goal as creative director was for Outlaw to look polar opposite of a typical "corporate" conference.
The result was a high energy promotion, with motorbikes, flares, flags and high contrasting and distorted appearance. Grabbing the audiences attention and inspiring them to action.
